Golf Outing

 Saturday 6th Jun,  23 rugby club players and guests took to the fairways at Strathmore Golf Centre for the annual Blairgowrie rugby club golf outing. Following coffee and bacon rolls club president Gordon Black hit the first ball of what proved to a most enjoyable day with some players handicaps being questioned at the end of the day.Ewan Ireland and Stephen Souter both ended the day with 42 stableford points but it was Ewan who took the first prize with abetter inward half. Other prize winners included Nearest the Pin - Fraser Bissett, Longest Drive - Stephen Souter, Best Dressed - Robert Larsen, most 8’s on their card - Kev Brown & Michael Black and special prize for most points in the 3 selected holes - Al Guild. Following the prize giving Gordon Black thanked the staff at the Strathmore Golf Centre for a superb meal, Gavin Wynd for organising the event and all those who donated prizes.

The Club AGM will be held at the clubhouse at the J J Coupar Park this Friday (15th) at 7.30 pm so a good turnout of players and members is requested.

The Rugby Club now has Sky TV and will be showing all major sporting events. A calendar of future events can be seen on the home page.
