With the weather cold but dry a large turnout of spectators enjoyed a festival of rugby with games being played at 4 different levels, S1/S2, P6/P7, P4/P5 and at Micro level with some superb skills on display at all levels. In the oldest section Blairgowrie S1/S2’s turned in a strong display against a well organised Crieff team winning by 11 tries to 5 with the Blairgowrie tries coming from Finlay Souch (4), Gordon Robertson (3), Callum Neil (3) and Arron Todd (1) with Fraser Black successfully kicking 5 conversions and Gordon Robertson kicking one conversion.

In the P6/P7 section Blairgowrie won all their matches the with the P4/P5 putting up some good displays against all the visiting teams. (See separate report). Following the rugby action the 160 players and their parents adjourned to the clubhouse to enjoy some excellent food prepared by a dedicated band of helpers. This was a superb afternoon of rugby and great to see so many youngsters enjoying the game of rugby. Huge credit must go to all those who give up their time to coach these youngsters every Sunday and to all the mums and dads who prepared the  food and manned the barbeque after the match.
